Whether you are looking to participate in some whitewater excitement or plan on just kicking back and enjoying the view, Rushing River Lodge will be sure to please. On one of the most beautiful stretches of the Cartecay River, this cabin has 350' of gorgeous river frontage all while privately situated on over 3 acres of land. With a fire pit complete with seating and a picnic table to enjoy a meal right at water's edge, you could spend hours here, enjoying the spectacular scenery and listening to the rush of the cool mountain waters.
The large covered porch with seating and dining space also provides a great place to take in the sights and sounds of the river regardless of the weather. Inside, you will have all the comforts of home including a huge wood burning fireplace for those chilly fall and winter evenings.
Rushing River has become a favorite of all those who visit. The cabin is easy to access, mostly paved and less than 5 miles from downtown Ellijay where unique shopping and fabulous dining await you!

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:
Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, Keurig/Drip Combo, crock pot, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans.
Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-wash cloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat and air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, Smart TV's for Streaming, internet, and propane grill with propane provided.
In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels, (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags) , Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads) Laundry Detergent (1 load), and Dish Washing Soap (mini bottle).
Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items.
The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE CABIN ARE E-MAILED TO YOU 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL IF YOUR RESERVATION HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH YOUR GUEST LIST AND DL. WE DO NOT ALLOW SAME DAY CHECK IN'S ON SATURDAYS OR SUNDAYS.

Saturday morning I emailed about a late check out on Monday since I’m a VIP Guest. I never received a response, so we were rushed checking out especially given the icy roads that morning
You should have received a auto response to your email stating that emails are not monitored on the weekends and to give us a call since we answer phones 24/7. Regardless, sorry this was an issue, we certainly would have done what we could to allow a later checkout.
