Plan a Visit to the Georgia Apple Festival

We’re rapidly approaching one of the most-anticipated fall festivals in Georgia: the annual Ellijay Apple Festival. Fall fanatics from across the Southeastern United States flock to the North Georgia mountains to partake in a wide variety of quintessential autumn activities, ranging from apple picking to “leaf-peeping.” The annual “Applefest” is typically combined with an extended weekend of fall fun, including hiking, fishing, pumpkin carving, and perhaps a self-guided vineyard tour. In fact, mid-October is one of our most popular two-week stretches here at Mountain Oasis Cabin Rentals. Most of our vacation homes are not only minutes away from the Apple Festival, jaw-dropping waterfalls, and countless vineyards, but many of our North Georgia cabin rentals overlook genuinely breathtaking mountain views.

There are typically nearly 300 vendors at the Georgia Apple Festival, so remember to bring along a tote bag for purchases, comfortable shoes, and, of course, an appetite! Here’s a little background on the event:
